Apeetogosan (Métis) Development Inc. (AMDI) is seeking a Loans Assistant to support Métis entrepreneurs across Alberta. In this role, you will process loan applications, maintain financial records, and provide exceptional customer service to entrepreneurs.
This is a term position for 12 to 18 months.
What you’ll do:
Provide support to the administration of loans including credit searches and registrations
Assist with loan payments
Manage the Indigenous Women Entrepreneur database
Compile and report loan statistics
Examine loan applications, interview applicants, compute ratio analysis, create documents and disbursements
Data input into management systems
Assist in the development and management of special initiatives, workshops and engage with partner organizations
What you bring:
Post Secondary education in Finance, Accounting or related field
2 years’ experience in loan processing or financial services
Strong financial analysis and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Métis culture or community involvement is a strong asset
